Overview
A 6-day safari exploring Samburu's rare Special Five wildlife and Ol Pejeta's rhino sanctuary with local expert guides.
Samburu is Kenya's best-kept secret — a rugged, semi-arid wonderland where the Ewaso Ng'iro River sustains an ecosystem found nowhere else on Earth. Over six expertly paced days, you'll track the Special Five (Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and the elegant gerenuk), watch leopards hunt along the riverbanks at dusk, and witness elephant herds crossing the shallows at dawn. Beyond Samburu, continue south to the rhino-rich highlands of Ol Pejeta Conservancy for close encounters with both black and white rhino. Every game drive is led by a Samburu-born guide whose tracking instincts have been honed over a lifetime on this land. Accommodations blend luxury with wilderness — think tented suites overlooking the river, starlit dinners, and the distant call of hyenas.
